When Trevor was a kid, his family would blindfold the kids Christmas eve and take them to a special place. This year, being our first family Christmas home (yeah!) We tried to incorporate both of our family traditions. We knew Christmas eve would be a bit busy so we decided to do our Christmas eve surprise early.
We've never been to the magical forest here is Vegas and thought it would be something fun and festive to surprise the kids with. The brochure made is seen very festive with music, lights, yummy treats. Turns out the magical forest ain't all that magical. It was very crowded with not much to do. We waited in line for quite some time to walk around a big circle and see lights! LAME!
So... we blindfolded the kids again and took them to the melting pot for some chocolate fondue. Now that was magical! Nothing better then dipping desserts in chocolate. The kids loved it!

We did the magical forest this year also...we waited for 45 minutes to ride the train. The end. LOL. Next year, try the chocolate factory. It's fabulous, free, and has no lines!!!!
You are absolutely right. Chocolate makes everything BETTER!!!
